Fed: PM says he wants to see Osama dead or captured

JOHN HOWARD says he wants to see OSAMA BIN LADEN captured or dead.

The PM says the release of a new tape from the al-Qaeda chief .. serves as a reminder
of the evils of terrorism.

He says it's important to maintain the fight against terrorism .. and not to give up
or be intimidated.

Mr HOWARD says the fact some groups BIN LADEN has referred to have distanced themselves
from him .. shows he doesn't represent mainstream Islam.
