Qld: Mother of road victim appeals for safety this Xmas

The mother of a teenage road crash victim has urged motorists this Christmas to remember
the pain and anguish endured by the friends and family of those killed on the nation's
roads.

BOBBIE HENRY'S daughter .. KELLY .. was just 17-years-old when she was killed in a
speed-related crash on Brisbane's southside in November 1998.

Graphic photographs of the smash .. which also seriously injured two other passengers
.. are now used in education campaigns across Queensland.

As the national road death toll climbed to 10 just 48 hours into this Christmas holiday
period .. Mrs HENRY appealed for motorists to drive safely.
