EMMA WILLARD HONORS EDUCATORS.(CAPITAL REGION)

The Emma Willard Board of Trustees honored the 50-year tenure of musician and educator Russell F. Locke with an official resolution of congratulations and recognition. Locke was noted for his adherence to rigorous teaching principles that have set the educational standard for generations of Emma Willard students and colleagues. He was the first holder of Emma Willard School's Eliza Kellas Instructorship, established to honor exceptional dedication and excellence. Marcia Easterling, a teacher at Emma Willard School for nearly 25 years, was named the recipient of the Eliza Kellas Endowed Chair.
