Germany pledges $7 million for East Africa famine

BERLIN (AP) — Germany says it is donating an additional €5 million ($7million) in humanitarian aid for East Africa's worsening famine.

Development Minister Dirk Niebel said Saturday that "the famine and the humanitarian crisis in the Horn of Africa are a cause of great worry."
